• The FJ is a dual spindle PLC machining center used for producing high quality finger joint miter parts used in cabinet door manufacturing
• It includes two 5 HP motors for cutting the miter, two 1 HP spindles for drilling dowel holes
• There is a hogging tool to remove the majority of material before the finger joint is cut
• This saves on tooling costs for finger joint tools
• The FJ is driven and controlled by a Galil PLC
• This means there is no potentially complicated computer to operate
• This machine is controlled by PLC, pneumatics and relays
• Because this machine has two independent carriages it can simultaneously cut two parts at one time making it extremely fast
