Automatic End-trimming and Profiling of Random Length Components
Defects are Marked with Fluorescent Crayon and Work-piece is positioned onto in-feed belt transfer by the operator
Work-Piece is then transferred inside the machine by means of motorized bottom tracks with free rollers top pressure system
A laser photo-eye activates an electronic measuring procedure to determine the work-pieces positioning with reference to the size of the scrap to be removed
The scrap size has to be preset on the control panel
Trimming unit operation by means of pneumatic cylinder
Work-piece referencing & clamping by means of controlled pneumatic pressure sequence
The scoring & profiling units are assembled on a movable base that slides on precision linear guides
by means of pinion (connected with a brushless motor) and rack
The speed (forward, profiling & backward) is adjustable directly from the control board
Bakelite back-up blocks, driven by pneumatic cylinder, grants a great result of the work-pieces end-working
When the end-processing has finished, the work-piece gets released from the clamping and moves to the next step to repeat the above described procedure with reference to the trailing-end
From here on, the machine keeps positioning and processing the leading and trailing ends simultaneously

Trimming units: Two(2) 5.5KW(7.5HP) with 30mm arbor and 450mm tool diameter (supplied)
Scoring units Four(4) 1.2KW(1.5HP) with 20mm arbor and 100mm tool diameter
Profiling Units Two(2) 6KW(8HP) with 30mm diameter x 70mm usable length arbor and 120mm tool diameter
